This full backyard transformation in Laguna Niguel turned an underused yard into a private, resort style living space built for everyday relaxing and entertaining.

At the center is a custom insulated patio cover with recessed lighting and an oversized ceiling fan. It creates a shaded outdoor living room around a stucco fireplace with a TV wall. Large format pavers with a contrasting charcoal border run from the covered patio, along both side yards and out to a curved fire pit lounge, so the whole property feels connected.

Lush, low maintenance artificial turf softens the hardscape. A custom stucco planter frames a mature olive tree as the yard's focal point, and built in planters along the back wall add clean architectural lines. A row of privacy plants along the block wall gives the space a finished, secluded feel.
